One of my first shot on the show and one of the last appearance of the

big guy in the movie.  Probably not a big spoiler, but soon after this shot

the big ape dies. sob... sob... :(

so I was responsible for the lighting and rendering of Kong and contact

shadow solutions.

I was mainly working on the full cg New York sequence towards the end of

the movie, so I did lighting on many cg biplanes (Helldivers) and cg digital

doubles as well. This shot is a fine example.

Interesting detail that the reference images were used to model and texture

the pilot digital doubles were taken from Peter Jackson's son.

An other good example of the airplane shots I mentioned above.

An as I mentioned before, I did lighting on Kong (that tiny dude on the top

of Empire States building) and the airplanes, and of course the city background.

(this is also a full cg shot)

One of the famous "Ann in Kong's hand" shots.

An other interesting shot of cg and miniature combination. I was responsible

for the lighting on Kong,  Ann and the cg ice rink. The rest of the shot is miniature.
